Reporting work that was posted without permission.

Last updated 2026-09-30. Apps in the Krate gallery, and their names, screenshots and icons, are published by the people who made them. If one of them uses your work without your permission, tell us and we will look at it quickly.

How to report it

Email legal@krate.tech with:

the work you own that you believe was copied;
the link to the app on krate.tech, or its name in the gallery;
your name, postal address, phone number and email address;
a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law;
a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you own the right or are authorised to act for the owner;
your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough).

We take down or disable the reported app while we look at it, tell the person who published it, and pass them a copy of your notice.

If your app was taken down

If you published an app that was taken down and you believe that was a mistake, email legal@krate.tech with the app's link, your name, address and phone number, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake, your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live (or, outside the United States, where we are), and your signature. We send your counter-notice to the person who reported it and put the app back after 10 to 14 working days unless they tell us they have gone to court.

Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of people who repeatedly publish other people's work without permission.
